MAREN Construction performed general contracting services for BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.). Located inside Star Metals in the West Midtown district, this 3,500 SF office interior renovation created a workplace designed to support both creative collaboration and focused individual work. The office buildout includes a fully soundproof writer's room, glass-front private offices, flexible meeting spaces, and an open layout tailored to the needs of a music industry organization. Custom architectural details elevate the space throughout, including a coffered executive office ceiling, custom millwork, open wood ceilings, slat walls, and a folding glass wall that seamlessly connects the conference room to the break area. Outside, an automated pergola extends the workplace experience while requiring careful structural coordination with the existing building, adding another layer of craftsmanship to a workplace built for creativity.
